1. Accounts and learning records
When you register we store your email address and the credentials needed to sign in. Saved articles, read state (after sign-in), your subscription plan and reading-email address are stored with your account so they can follow you across devices and receive email. After signing out, public pages remain readable anonymously.
2. Browser-local data
Read state while signed out, theme, recent searches (up to 10), changelog read state and feedback drafts are stored in this browser. List position and expanded state are kept in this tab's session storage only. Clearing browser data removes them; they do not sync across devices.
3. Feedback
What you submit on the feedback page, an optional email address, the page address at submission and any screenshot you attach are stored on the server to handle your feedback. If an operations notification channel is configured, feedback may be forwarded there. To prevent abuse, the server stores an irreversible identifier derived from the network address and browser type, used for rate limiting and blocking abusive sources.
4. Email and payments
Reading emails are sent through an email provider; we give that provider the recipient address and delivery result so it can deliver mail and handle bounces. If online payment is enabled, payment details are handled by the payment provider; this site does not store card numbers.
5. Server logs
The site does not build visitor profiles or run ad tracking by default. Servers, reverse proxies or CDNs may record access logs (such as IP address, time, page address and browser information) for security and troubleshooting, and clear them as part of normal operations.
6. Third-party content
This site shows summaries of and links to third-party articles. Following an original link takes you to another site, whose privacy policy applies.
7. Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to access, correct or delete your account and feedback data through the feedback page. We may verify your email first to protect the account.
